Bleach Update
Yes, yes...I am a media masochist...blah, blah blah.
And Dead Man Espada bites the dust. Or at least I hope he has. And not at a moment too soon. It seems like a couple of people over at Bleach Asylum were beginning to take his "I am King of Hueco Mundo" diatribes as the truth. Seriously, if he had any sort of real power he would not be following Aizen. He was just trying to do some smack talk. And then he was killed by his own fucking weapon. I feel this was apt.
The next fight is probably Hitsugaya/Hiyori/Lisa v. Hallibel. I suspect most of the fight will consist of Lisa and Hallibel playing card games as Hitsugaya and Hiyori fight over who is more chibi.
OMG! An interesting Anime-only Filler Arc. The Shinigami fight the spirits of their own ZanpakutÅ. I'm only two episodes in, but I can say that this would have been so much more interesting had Ichigo never gotten involved. We know enough about Ichigo and his sword as it is. I am more interested in everyone else. Then again, this is the way I feel about most of Bleach, which is why I get so easily bored by it.
The animation quality is as "good" as it ever was. But I do like both the beginning and ending themes. If only someone had thought to dress Orihime in a school uniform that fit her for the "sexy" girl group intro animation.
