Butterfly!Aizen = DNW!!! Seriously, I think KT has taken everything I once liked about Aizen and tossed it aside. And I don't want anything ridiculous, like Good!Aizen (silly fantasy that). Post Reveal!Aizen (or even Pre-HM Arc!Aizen) was an interesting villain who had a ton of potential. But that potential has been squandered on his ever-widening retcon story grip and his many costume changes. Bah!
And, to be utterly shallow for a moment, he's not even hot anymore. Don't get me wrong: I would still be disappointed even if his next evolution managed to return to the hotness. His staticness as a character is what's most infuriating. Still: "Insult to injury," she muttered.
Though the fanart has already surfaced. I laughed.
Gin, Gin...I just don't know anymore.
Holy retcon! Did Aizen's minion in the flashback just hand him the hogoyoku?
