He couldn’t understand her fears. After all, he had known that she was different than him for some time. He had accepted any of her strange behaviors as natural when it came to her. His love for her was as organic as anything else under the sun. He couldn’t turn away from her if he tried.
And now that they and the children were alone on earth, they had to remain together. Petty arguments and misunderstandings couldn’t happen when the fate of the Coral and Humanity sat in your hands. So he was careful about what he said and made sure to support her as best he could. It wasn’t hard for him to do. He wasn’t lying when he told her he was beautiful. He couldn’t look into her
